Hi Impact Orange

Really into playing with my nails at the moment. Yesterday I put a steady hand on and did this, giving all ten nails a different pattern. The perfect Orange metallic shade is from BYS and is called Hi-Impact Orange.

Friday Girl

 

Couple of fridays ago, the Observer started their new fashion feature, very exiting I say!
The main purpose is to celebrate and lift the local fashion and shopping that actually is around in Gladstone. First there the friday picture featuring the Friday girl and in the weekend session a two page spread showing off the latest fashion and trends connected to a local store.
I was the very lucky number one girl Friday, and oh I had so much fun shooting these pics!  The location with all props, the colorful outfits and the staff from the observer who took the pictures and wrote the text was all just perfect.

Floppy

Beating the heat staying in shade of my hat with an ice-coffe today! Love that hat, the perfect floppy one which I wore back whit jeans shorts from Just Jeans, white shimmy from H&M, foldable raybans and my brown strappy leather sandals I got custom made in Vietnam.

Cider Galleries

 Spent a beautiful sunday morning in the bushlands of queensland, or as much bushland I think we dare to explore just now, and only twenty minutes from home. Cider Galleries off Dawson Highway is a magical little place and host a good farmers Marker for superb fruit and veggies every other sunday.

A FASHIONSTONE

First post, see that´s always a tricky one, but I guess it should explain the purpose of this blog and a bit about me too. So, I´ve just moved to Gladstone, that town along the eastcoast of Australia in Queensland. It´s me and my love, B in our little apartment, which we moved into about four months ago, after 7 months of backpacking our way through asia and southern australia. Originally we´re from Sweden, that country way up north, covered in snow half the year. Kind of a shock to own your own bathroom and all that space for shoes in a a big closet all of a sudden after living in a backpack for almost a year. So I´ve figured it´s about time I get my wardrobe and style back, after all its only fair when leaving 60 pair of beautiful shoes all packed up in five movingboxes in a storage back home.

This one is gonna be about life, love and fashion. The love of fashion and the creativity it creates. My main purpose it to make it inspiring, fun and stylish - obviously since were now talking fashion here. You´ll also get to hear a bit of our adventure we´ve been up to and the adventures we´re about to start living in a dream country half way around the world.
